In our nation today more and more children
are starting kindergarten and are not properly prepared. As of today 35% of our children do not have the essentials to learn
to the best of their capability and are now struggling in our education systems. This is why Jumpstart is one of the best
new preparation programs for children. Jumpstart is a one year program where college students are trained through Americorps
and are paired up one-on-one with low income preschool children. In this program the Corps members help improve children's
language and literacy skills. Specifically their communication, and reading ability, as well as their social and initiative skills. These aspects are then
directly linked to each child's ability to succeed in their future schooling. Each child deserves an equal chance in
their school success, in order for this to happen we need your help. So join and please help our future children because
